Heysham High School raised over £700 on Friday for Red Nose Day.
PSHE class 822 were set a challenge. They were given £1 each from Miss Furney and Miss Western and set out to make more money!
They organised sponsored runs, cake bakes, car washing and sponsored silences.
Mrs Bird, the school receptionist decorated the whole school reception in bright red and Miss Western sold Red Nose cupcakes.
Mr Conway took part in penalty shootout and raised money with his superb goal keeping prowess.
Miss Western said, “PSHE class 822 did a fantastic job and we think as a group they raised £324, thank you to the teachers who helped them with any of their sponsored events, especially the sponsored silence.
“On behalf of the House team can we thank everybody for their support. Thanks must go to Mr Conway for his brilliant goalkeeping and to all the staff who got involved.”
She added: “We would like to pay particular thanks to Nicola Furney who has put in an unbelievable amount of time and effort into some of the events today and she deserves a special mention.
And finally thank you to Mrs Birdy for "Redception". The reception area did us all proud and worked so hard throughout the day.
