Following our visit from Ofsted in October, 2012, we were very pleased to be judged as “Good” in two of the four categories; “Behaviour and Safety of Pupils” and “Leadership and Management”.
We were, obviously, not so pleased that we did not achieve a “Good” in the remaining two categories, which meant that overall the Inspectors judged the school as what, until this year, was called “Satisfactory”. This was the same judgement we received on our previous visit and although we would have wished for an overall “Good”, we accept that, like all schools, we need to improve all the time.
We are constantly striving to improve on the value we offer as a school to students of all abilities and from all backgrounds, and we were very pleased with the many positive comments in the body of the report.
As we teach our students, we accept that there is work to be done and we do it.
Please do feel free to contact school if there are any aspects of the report you would wish to discuss further.
